MANYPUBSACROSSTHENORTHWEST.

Hello and welcome to Haydock Park for this year’s instalment of the Sky Bet Sunday Series!
We’re delighted to once again be a part of this amazing initiative which is now in its third year and worth a whopping £1.2million The series, which consists of a fixtures across Musselburgh, Hamilton, Beverley, Pontefract, and Jockey Club Racecourse Sandown Park, is a collaboration between ITV, Racecourse Media Group and Sky Betting and Gaming
The idea is to showcase our sport in a Sunday twilight slot on terrestrial television during the summer, with an objective to present racing to a new audience of fans.
It also gives us the opportunity to welcome you all back to Haydock Park on a day we are very proud to be a part of The action will get underway at 3.45pm with The Sky Bet Series Apprentice Handicap Stakes over 5f, while the last is at 6.45pm.

Before the first race, the stars of tomorrow will be given the chance to ride around Haydock Park in a 148cm pony race which takes place at 2.45pm The race gives young riders the ideal opportunity to gain some real-life experience on a race day and really is a sight to behold, so make sure you don’t miss it!
Looking forward, we have some of our biggest days of the summer coming up, starting with the incredible Nile Rodgers & Chic music night on Friday 11th August. This is sure to be a night to remember and we can’t wait to welcome them – and the crowds – back to Haydock Park! The next day on Saturday 12th August, we’ll be hosting our social highlight of the season, Ladies Day. To be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes make sure you come on down and enter the Style Awards, which this year are supported by The Buyers Club Clothing. It goes without saying that we will also have amazing racing taking place on the day, with the Rose of Lancaster Stakes the highlight
We’ll then be turning our attentions to The Sprint Cup Festival, which is held on the 7th, 8th & 9th of September. This exciting festival of racing sees some of the best horses in training come to Haydock Park and really is the climax of our summer season.
To find out more about everything we have going on, please visit our website by scanning the QR code below.

For now, I wish you all a wonderful day with us.
Warm wishes,

DON’T FORGET OUR NEXT MEETINGS -

1. FORM EXPERTVIEWCODE OF CONDUCT
As part of our joint commitment to each other and the communities in which we operate, all racegoers should be aware of the Code of Conduct and observe the following whilst at our Racecourse.
For the safety of other racegoers and racecourse staff, please consider wearing a face covering in busy indoor areas or outside where social distancing cannot be maintained.

Regularly wash your hands, use hand sanitiser and avoid touching your face and dispose of any used tissues appropriately.
Familiarise yourself with your entry point and the location of amenities within the racecourse.
We are operating a cashless event. On-course bookmakers/pool betting operators may accept cash

Enjoy the vast amounts of space around the racecourse and avoid congregating in busy areas (for example, along the rail or by the Winning Post).
Make sure all walkways, corridors and doorways etc are clear before you walk through.
Follow all signage and the instructions of staff, officials or any emergency service personnel present at the racecourse.
Make sure other members of your group have read and understood these guidelines.
Thank you so much for your continued support and co-operation

Plenty to consider with the vote going to SHEIKH MAZ MAHOOD, who will find this easier than the race he contested at the Curragh 5 weeks ago Copper Knight remains on a good mark as he bids for the hat-trick so is the obvious threat, while Manila Scouse will surely be winning again before too long.

IMPORTANT NOTICES
RACEHORSE & JOCKEY WELFARE
The welfare of the sport’s equine and human participants is paramount to British Horseracing. All racehorses competing in Britain are stabled at the premises of trainers who are licensed by The British Horseracing Authority The standards demanded by The BHA of licensed racehorse trainers far exceed those prescribed by animal welfare legislation The British Horseracing Authority similarly licenses every racecourse, setting high standards for the racing surface and all parts of the course used by competitors, both human and equine. BHA Officials ensure that racecourses delivers these standards In addition Haydock Park Racecourse employs a minimum of three veterinary surgeons, whose sole responsibility it is to provide care to the horses throughout their time at the racecourse In the event of an incident on the racecourse, any horse affected will receive immediate treatment from the racecourse’s veterinary team. Qualified paramedics and doctors are also on hand in the case of any incident involving a jockey If any incident occurs during a race it is routine practice for screens to be erected around the horse or jockey receiving treatment. This is to allow the veterinary or medical personnel to make a safe and accurate diagnosis and so that they may perform any treatment in a private and calm environment. If necessary, horses and riders will be transported from the course to receive further treatment at the nearest equine hospital or Accident & Emergency hospital
