FLAT OUT FUN FOR EVERYONE!
BOOK TICKETS AND HOSPITALITY
WELCOME TO

Hello and a very warm welcome back to Haydock Park for another evening of racing and fun.

The summer period is our busiest time of the year here at the racecourse, with almost non-stop action throughout. Today is no exception and we’re really looking forward to an evening of great racing on the track and a relaxed atmosphere around the course
Horses will go to the start for the first at 5.40pm in The King’s Moss Handicap Stakes, while the last runners and riders will be ready for the off at 8.50pm
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank those who are supporting racing today including Racing TV and the EBF.

Over the coming weeks and months we have an array of fantastic fixtures to look forward to, including two of our much-loved music nights featuring the one and only Craig David on Saturday 24th June and Nile Rodgers and Chic on Friday 11th August
Top-quality action on the course is expected to unfold during the Old Newton Cup Festival, which takes place between Thursday 6th and Saturday 8th July, with The Betfred Rose of Lancaster Carnival and Ladies’ Day to follow a month later in August.
To find out more about everything we have going on, please head on over to our website: www.thejockeyclub/haydock
For now, I wish you all a wonderful evening here with us Warm wishes,
Molly Dingwall General Manager

‘To win’ is for your horse to come first.
‘Each-way’ is for your horse to come first or to be placed. It’s two bets, so ‘£2 each-way’ = £4 total bet.
Decide the amount – or stake – you are comfortable to bet.
Place your bet. There are different places to bet on course; The Tote, racecourse bookmakers, betting shop or online. Each option offers a different experience.
Collect. Once ‘Weighed-in’ has been announced, present your betting slip and collect any winnings.

GREAT BRITISH BONUS SCHEME
The Great British Bonus (GBB) offers multiple bonuses of up to £20,000 per eligible race for British-bred fillies and mares.
VETS SCREEN POLICY
We have agreed with our vets that the screen should be erected, whenever a horse requires veterinary treatment on the course. This does not reflect the severity of an injury, but does help to provide a calm environment, in which the vet is better able to treat the horse.
Please do not assume the worst if you see screens erected around a fallen horse.
EACH-WAY BETTING TERMS
Working alongside the Racecourse Association (RCA), bookmakers have introduced standard each-way betting terms across Jockey Club Racecourses. Bookmakers will provide these terms, or better, when offering each-way betting.
Fewer than 3 runners: win bets only, no places offered

IMPORTANT NOTICES
RACEHORSE & JOCKEY WELFARE
The welfare of the sport’s equine and human participants is paramount to British Horseracing. All racehorses competing in Britain are stabled at the premises of trainers who are licensed by The British Horseracing Authority The standards demanded by The BHA of licensed racehorse trainers far exceed those prescribed by animal welfare legislation The British Horseracing Authority similarly licenses every racecourse, setting high standards for the racing surface and all parts of the course used by competitors, both human and equine. BHA Officials ensure that racecourses delivers these standards In addition Haydock Park Racecourse employs a minimum of three veterinary surgeons, whose sole responsibility it is to provide care to the horses throughout their time at the racecourse In the event of an incident on the racecourse, any horse affected will receive immediate treatment from the racecourse’s veterinary team. Qualified paramedics and doctors are also on hand in the case of any incident involving a jockey If any incident occurs during a race it is routine practice for screens to be erected around the horse or jockey receiving treatment. This is to allow the veterinary or medical personnel to make a safe and accurate diagnosis and so that they may perform any treatment in a private and calm environment. If necessary, horses and riders will be transported from the course to receive further treatment at the nearest equine hospital or Accident & Emergency hospital
