Welcome back to Haydock Park for a great afternoon of racing –we’re so happy that you could join us!

The Flat Season is truly in full swing now, and we’re loving all the fantastic action we’re seeing unfold on the track. The sun was shining on Saturday as we hosted the Sky Bet John of Gaunt Stakes, which was a brilliant afternoon of racing and entertainment.

Today we have another seven races to look forward to, with the first getting underway at 2.10pm in the Jewson Tool Hire Apprentice Handicap Stakes. The last runners and riders will be going to post at 5.20pm I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Jewson for their very kind support of today’s card and wish them a wonderful day with us We are also glad to welcome guests of ACSIL today, who are here to remember their friends Pat Hodgson and Mary Shields.

We have a jam-packed schedule of racing to come over the coming weeks and months, with a great combination of fantastic racing, great entertainment, and world-class music on the cards.

On Saturday 24th June, the multi-award-winning artist Craig David will bring his unmissable show to Haydock Park, while on Friday 11th August, Nile Rodgers and Chic will bring an evening of fun to the racecourse.

Between Thursday 6th and Saturday 8th July, we will be hosting our famous Old Newton Cup Festival – three days of racing that not only attract some of the best equine stars in the sport, but also provides the perfect opportunity to socialise with friends and family. Each day offers something unique and a chance to enjoy the action from different parts of the racecourse
