A very warm welcome to Hamilton Park for our Indigo Unified Comms Saints & Sinners Racenight. We have a great evening of racing and entertainment ahead of us as we support the Saints & Sinners Club of Scotland in their fundraising endeavours for some incredibly worthwhile causes. 2026 marks not only Hamilton Park’s 100-year centenary but also the 60th running of the Saints & Sinners Racenight, making this another historic moment in our rich history.
Our thanks go to all of tonight’s sponsors – The European Breeders Fund, Hampton by Hilton Hamilton Park, Patersons of Greenoakhill, the Michael Tracey Project and of course our title sponsors Indigo Unified Comms. I hope you and your guests have a wonderful evening with us.
As is tradition, this evening’s racing gets underway at 6pm with an amateur jockeys’ race for the beautiful Saints & Sinners Challenge Cup. Jim Goldie has an excellent record in this race and has two runners in tonight’s contest including Alnayef who will be ridden by last year’s winning jockey Eireann Cagney. Jim’s other runner is Annandale who won here last week and will be ridden by Kayleigh Williams, who’s race record stands as one win from one ride having ridden competitively for the first time here a fortnight ago
Our feature race, the Class 3 Indigo Unified Comms Handicap at 7.30pm, looks a competitive contest with nine runners set to go to post. Three of this evening’s field hold course and distance victories here, with the Iain Jardine-trained Parisiac holding the most recent victory earlier this month to add to his course form which now stands at two wins, three seconds and two third place finishes from his ten runs. I wish all of this evening’s runners and riders the very best of luck.
The Saints & Sinners Club of Scotland work throughout the year to raise funds for small, peoplebased Scottish charities. Their fundraising takes an enormous amount of work and we at Hamilton Park are proud to make our contribution to their efforts this evening. In addition to a donation made from every ticket purchased for this evening, funds raised from the sale of red and white carnations will go to the charity so please do pick one up from the sellers at the entrances. We also have our annual Sign-a-Note raffle with some fantastic prizes up for grabs, so please check your racecard for more details of how to get involved.
Away from the track action we’re delighted to be welcoming the Soundsational Community Choir who will be performing around the grounds during the evening. After racing has finished do make sure you stay on for this evenings after-party in the Parade Ring Marquee, featuring our Electric 80’s and Neon 90’s tribute show to close out the evening.
Whether you’re a saint or a sinner, I hope you back a winner or two tonight.
Kind regards
ASHLEY MOON, RACECOURSE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Good evening and welcome to the annual Saints & Sinners Club of Scotland race meeting. It is fantastic to be back here again at our home at Hamilton Park to enjoy the evening’s racing and raise funds for the charity. Hopefully, the sun might even shine!

The Club raises funds to distribute annually to small Scottish charities and the yearly grant from the Club is the difference that enables many to carry on their work. We supported over 120 charities last year, with over £140,000 issued in grants. Just being here tonight helps our fundraising and there are many ways you can support us around the racecourse tonight. Whatever we raise will be a tremendous help in maintaining our grants - something ever-more vital in these challenging times.
I’d like to thank Ashley, Katie, Abbie and all the team here at Hamilton for their continued support of the night. I hope you have a great evening, back a few winners and on behalf of the whole Club, I’d like to thank you too for coming this evening and supporting our efforts; it is much appreciated.

Simply place £10 in an envelope from one of the racecard sellers and fill in your details to enter the raffle for a chance to win a fabulous prize. Of couse, every penny of your £10 pledge will be spent directly by Saints & Sinners helping those who need it most
This will allow us to claim extra funds from HMRC on your donation
Get your envelope and enter now for a chance to win!

Commissioned in 2026 to mark Hamilton Park’s 100th year of racing, this memorial sculpture honours the late Sir Ian Good in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Hamilton Park, Scottish Racing, and the racing industry as a whole.
Sir Ian served on the Board from 1990 and as Chairman from 1999 until his passing in 2023. Under his leadership, Hamilton Park developed into one of the UK’s leading independent racecourses, including the addition of the on-site Hampton by Hilton hotel in 2019. He also played a key role nationally as founding Chairman of Scottish Racing, and held senior positions with the Racing Foundation, the Tote, and the Jockey Club.
In collaboration with the Good family, the sculpture has been created by renowned sculptor Michael Turner who specialises in creating unique, handcrafted artwork using marine grade stainless steel. With the working title of ‘A Dynamic Force’, each individual panel of stainless steel has been shaped by hand to create a sculpture that embodies the energy and excitement of horse racing, showcasing the power and grace of the horse in motion alongside the unique harmony that exists between horse and jockey.
Located between the Hampton by Hilton Hotel and the Sir Ian Good Grandstand, this sculpture stands as a lasting tribute to his vision, leadership, and legacy
The design includes subtle tributes to Sir Ian’s life and legacy, so please do visit the sculpture to see them for yourself.

This year sees the tenth running of Racing Staff Week. Once again, the week will bring the racing industry and its followers together to showcase the passion, skill and dedication of all the staff, across the breadth of the industry, whose hard work makes our great sport possible.
This year’s Racing Staff Week will recognise the contribution of the industry’s entire workforce, from stud and stable staff to breeders, racecourse staff and administrators and everything in between.
DID YOU KNOW, 85,000 PEOPLE ARE EITHER IN DIRECT, INDIRECT OR ASSOCIATED EMPLOYMENT OF BRITISH RACING

This is a one mile and five furlongs handicap race for four-year-olds and upwards which have been rated from 46 to 60. In a handicap the weight that each of the runners carries is determined by their official handicap rating which is based on their level of form shown so far. The aim is to ensure competitive racing by asking the higher rated horses to carry more weight than a lower rated rival. As a guide, horses rated 40 tend to be at the lower end of the scale whilst the very best performers would be rated as high as 130.

RACE DESCRIPTION
This race is a five furlong maiden stakes for two-year-olds. Maiden races provide a starting point for young horses that are yet to record a victory and most will be very lightly-raced or be making their racecourse debuts. Previous experience can count for a lot when searching for the winner but well-bred or precocious juveniles are more than capable of landing the prize at the first time of asking.

about FIVE FURLONGS (5f abt 7yds) (1000m)
RACE DESCRIPTION
Selling Stakes exist as an outlet for connections to sell their horses. Any horse that wins a seller, such as this five furlongs contest for three-year-olds and upwards, is automatically put up for public auction in the Winners’ Enclosure at the end of the race and goes to the highest bidder, so make sure to head that way after the race as the auction is usually well worth seeing.

about FIVE FURLONGS (5f abt 7yds) (1000m) 7.30p.m.
RACE DESCRIPTION
This is a five furlong handicap race for three-year-olds and upwards which have been rated from 71 to 90. To qualify for a handicap rating horses must have run at least three times in a Flat race in Britain, or have run in no more than two Flat races run in Britain and won at least one of them. This rating then dictates the weight to be carried in a handicap In simple terms a horse rated 90 in this particular race would be required to carry 5lb more than a rival rated 85.
Leading course trainer (20-25): J Goldie (73 wins from 509 runners, 14%) runs GANGSTA MAN & WOOHOO
Trainer-in-form (last 14 days): J Goldie (6 wins from 53 runners, 11%) runs GANGSTA MAN & WOOHOO
Longest Traveller: DYONISOS trained by I Williams, Alvechurch, 294 miles.
BETTING FORECAST: 9-2 Woohoo (IRE), 11-2 Tatterstall (IRE),
6-1 Dyonisos (FR), 13-2 Gangsta Man (IRE), Parisiac (IRE), 8-1 Al Hussar (GB), 10-1 Reigning Profit (IRE), 16-1 Eye of Dubai (GB), Mon Na Slieve (IRE)
RACE SUMMARY: No shortage of chances in this sprint handicap with C&D winner WOOHOO narrowly selected to come out on top. Jim Goldie’s mare looked an unlucky loser on her most recent start at Musselburgh, finishing to good effect having twice been forced to switch for a run and she holds definite claims. Fellow C&D winner Parisiac is thriving on a busy spell and is feared along with class-dropping Dyonisos. Gangsta Man is another in with a shout.

ONE MILE, ONE FURLONG about 35 YARDS (9f abt 35yds) (1800m)
RACE DESCRIPTION
This race is a one mile, one furlong about 35 yards maiden stakes for three-year-olds and upwards. Maiden races provide a starting point for young horses that are yet to record a victory and most will be very lightly raced or be making their racecourse debuts. Previous experience can count for a lot when searching for the winner but well-bred or precocious juveniles are more than capable of landing the prize at the first time of asking.
RACE STATISTICS

RACE DESCRIPTION
This is a one mile and three furlongs handicap race for threeyear-olds and upwards which have been rated from 56 to 75. Once a horse has qualified for a handicap rating this is regularly reassessed. A below-par effort could result in a reduced rating whilst a strong performance could see the rating increased. Occasionally, horses are entered to race before their handicap rating has been reviewed and so to avoid recent winners being un-penalised they are allotted a mandatory penalty – usually 6lb
Leading course trainer (20-25): J Goldie (73 wins from 509 runners, 14%) runs GEO
Trainer-in-form (last 14 days): A Balding (14 wins from 70 runners, 20%) runs RUBY WEDDING
Weightwatcher: JUJUBELLA won off a handicap mark of 71, her rating is now down 6lb to 65.
Longest Traveller: RUBY WEDDING trained by A Balding, Kingsclere, 387 miles.
BETTING FORECAST: 7-4 Geo (IRE), 9-4 Ruby Wedding (GB), 7-2 Jujubella (IRE), 11-2 Aussie Pearl (IRE)
RACE SUMMARY: RUBY WEDDING was pitched into a strong race at Ascot on her handicap bow and looks worth giving another chance to given the promise of her reappearance. Jujubella shaped with more encouragement than previously this season here earlier this month and is interesting with headgear back on, whilst Geo also holds strong form claims if taking up her engagement here rather than at Carlisle

RACE DESCRIPTION
This is a six furlong handicap race for three-year-olds and upwards which have been rated from 46 to 65. Like most handicaps on the flat this race is also open to horses that are rated below that particular band. However, all handicaps stipulate a minimum weight and no runner can carry less than that, irrespective of how low their rating is. This is often described as ‘running from out of the handicap’ and is considered a disadvantage
