Race Summary
KINROSS looks solid in here given he finished a neck second in the race 12 months ago and won it the year before that. A dual Group 1 winner last year and last seen finishing a close-up third in the July Cup at Newmarket, Ralph Beckett’s charge ticks plenty of boxes and is expected to prove tough to beat. Isaac Shelby is another dropping down from Group 1 company, though, and he can put up a good fight getting 6lb from the selection following his fourth to Paddington in the St James’s Palace Stakes. Al Suhail and Criterion Stakes winner Audience add further spice to the race.
Win: KINROSS Danger: Isaac Shelby
Frankie Dettori is notoriously overbacked in the World Pool, so taking on Kinross might just pay a handsome reward. Rumour has it that the Gosden’s fancy their chances with Audience, who has won his last two starts, including the G3 Criterion Stakes at Newmarket most recently. Take a chance on him to win the World Pool sponsored Lennox Stakes.
