R ace Summary
HMS President has been running consistently well in competitive handicaps all season and he warrants plenty of respect equipped with first-time blinkers, but preference is for the less-exposed CHAMPAGNE PIAFF. Two wins and a solid placed effort at Ascot on his last three starts show that he is still on the improve and Gary Moore’s charge is attractively weighted in this event. Raymond Tusk keeps running well at long odds and could figure prominently again, while Big Team and Graphite are others to note. Win: Champagne Piaff Danger: HMS President
