VERDICT
Joseph O’Brien holds a strong hand here with three of the eight-strong field. HONEY GIRL ran in high class company last season but failed to get off the mark, however since switching to the O’Brien yard she has won her two starts this season, including the Group 3 Athasi Stakes last time out. Judging by how she hit the line over 7f, she looks well worth another try over a mile Stablemate Goldana was also a Group 3 winner on her most recent start, and that form has been boosted so she looks the main threat. Jumbly is also of interest with Ryan Moore booked to ride and is worth watching in the market.
Curragh Comment
Joseph O’Brien launches a three-pronged assault but even though Jumbly is the mount of Ryan Moore, she has a 309-day layoff to overcome and the pick of the trio may be Honey Girl, who stepped up markedly on her maiden success when bounding clear for an impressive Group 3 victory here. However, Willie McCreery has a good record in this contest and narrow preference is for his INSINUENDO. Too keen over 1m2f in the Mooresbridge Stakes, she is better judged on her C&D defeat of Redressed in the Park Express over track and trip in March and her good third in a Group 1 on Champions Day at Ascot last October.
WIN: INSINUENDO
DANGER: Honey Girl
