DECLARED RUNNERS 11 2022: ABSOLUTELYFLAWLESS 2 8 13 Laura Pearson 6-1 (David Loughnane) 6 ran Stewards Note: SHE’S SMART: Following its run on 19/4/2023 it was reported that the horse ran green.

Probable S.P.’s: 4-1 Ziggy’s Phoenix (IRE), 9-2 Balon d’Or (GB), 6-1 Ziggy’s Dream (IRE), 13-2 Parkside Boy (IRE), 9-1 She’s Smart (IRE), 11-1 Tierney (IRE), 14-1 John Steed (IRE), 20-1 Myconian (IRE), Dan Dee Prince (IRE), 33-1 Alfa Moonstone (GB), 100-1 Dandy Fitz (IRE)

PLAY SMARTER

Backing any horse drawn on the outside here is risky, but BALON D’OR appeals as being the most talented of these with his debut win at Musselburgh proving to be strong form. At the forecast prices, it’s well worth siding with him to overcome stall 11, with the Middleham Park duo Ziggy’s Phoenix and Ziggy’s Dream the main dangers.

TIMEFORM PREDICTION: 1.BALON D’OR 2.ZIGGY’S PHOENIX (IRE) 3.ZIGGY’S DREAM (IRE)
