First Race 6.20 - THE FEGENTRI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) (FOR FEMALE AMATEUR JOCKEYS) (Special Rider Conditions and Race Reserves) Distributed in accordance with the Stakes and Prize Money Code. £4619 to the winning horse The second to receive £2310, the third £1154 and the fourth £577. for four yrs old and upwards, Rated 51-70 (also open to such horses rated 71 and 72; such horses rated 50 and below are also eligible - see Standard Conditions). £45 stake if the horse is rated 51 or higher, or £9 stake if the horse is rated 50 or lower with £36 extra if the horse is declared to run Declare by 10.00 a.m. August 6th. Riders must have ridden a minimum of five winners under the Rules of Racing or the Rules of a recognised Racing Authority including Flat Races, Steeple Chases, Hurdle Races and National Hunt Flat Races. Winning rides in Point-to-Point Races and Arabian Horse Races will also be taken into account. Riders will be nominated by the Amateur Jockeys’ Association of Great Britain and allocated to horses by ballot.. Chelmsford City Racecourse will award £50 to the person responsible for the horse judged to be best turned out in this race Special conditions relate to reserves in this race 1. The trainers of horses which are not amongst the 14 highest weighted horses must indicate at the declaration stage whether they are prepared for their horse to be a reserve. 2. If the number of declared runners exceeds the safety factor, two reserves will be selected. Those horses will be the two horses with the highest official BHA Handicap Rating amongst those which are subject to elimination from the race after the declaration stage and for which their trainers have indicated that they are prepared for their horse to stand as a reserve. If a trainer does not make any such indication and cannot be contacted, the horse will not stand as a reserve. Should two or more horses have identical Handicap Ratings, elimination will be decided by random ballot. A horse will not be permitted to declare as a reserve if declaring for another race on the card. 3. The two reserves will be nominated R15 and R16. Of the two reserves, the one with the higher Handicap Rating will be nominated as R15 and the next as R16. If the two reserves have an identical Handicap Rating, their order will be decided by random ballot. Draw positions will be allocated to all remaining declared runners, including reserves. All 14 runners plus the two reserves will be required to attend the racecourse. The case of a reserve not attending or running shall be subject to the provisions of the Race Entry Code (Reserves). 4. In the event of any of the original runners being declared a non-runner for a race UP TO AN HOUR BEFORE THE TIME FIXED FOR THE RACE, it may be replaced by a reserve horse up to 45 mins before the time fixed for the race 5. Non-runners will be replaced in the following order: if there is one non-runner, it will be replaced by R15. The second non-runner will be replaced by R16.
