Good Evening

Welcome to Chelmsford City Racecourse for one of our regular Thursday evening fixtures under floodlights. Even though we are starting to see a gradual lengthening of the days, which is heartening, the floodlights will still be very much in evidence for several more months. Whilst we all look forward to those balmy summer evenings, the floodlights here at Chelmsford add a unique atmosphere to the evening, which, even on the coldest of evenings, give a warmth to proceedings that I, for one, miss during the summer

We have a seven-race card for you tonight with some interesting and tricky contests, where winners will, as ever, be hard to find. I wish you the best of luck in finding some winners and trust you will have an enjoyable evening.
