We have another 8-race card for you this evening, as the Racing Welfare Handicap has divided, giving us a total of 85 runners at the time of declaration. We are always thrilled to have an extra race and with such an excellent number of runners, we are able to offer you, our guests, a full evening of competitive and exciting racing.
As Christmas looms over the horizon, our thoughts are turning to Christmas parties. With demand already soaring, we have added a third date for our Illuminate Christmas Ball, meaning you can now choose from Friday 9th, Saturday 10th or Friday 16th December to celebrate with your friends, family or colleagues. These events will be held in our stunning winter-themed marquee, where you will be able to enjoy a magical evening of festive fine-dining and entertainment, so please go to our website to see what is on offer and to book your table.
Have a lovely evening.

The BHA Handicappers allot ratings to horses once they have taken part in a sufficient number of races to enable the Handicappers to make a numerical assessment of each horse’s ability.
The principal purpose of the ratings is to determine the weight to be carried by each runner in handicap races, with the Handicappers aiming to provide each participant with an equal chance based on its best recent form under its optimum conditions. A horse rated 100, for example, would be set to carry 1lb more than a horse rated 99 (ignoring any penalties or allowances).
The ratings published in the racecard for handicap races are the ratings that were used to calculate the weight to be carried by each horse, whilst in non-handicaps races the rating shown is that of each runner at the time that the entries for the race were confirmed. Any subsequently published change to a rating, either up or down, is shown in brackets following the rating.

WALL STREET CRASH made a promising start when runner-up in a Hamilton maiden and can go one better now with this step up in trip looking a plus. Rosette has the form to play a big part if back on song, while Expeditious and newcomers Kay Ceraar and City of York need considering too.
LILANDRA has been in pretty good form this year and registered her second victory of the campaign at
Although a 5lb rise clearly demands more, the John Flint yard could hardly be in better form so she’s taken to win again. Manettino has run well in defeat on his last two starts and he’s unlikely to be far away, while Steel Duchess went close here last time and, off 2lb higher, she’s entitled to respect.
