CITY SELECTIONS GRIGGY made the most of a falling handicap mark when winning at Wolverhampton on his latest outing. John Butler’s six-year-old was nudged up 2lb for that narrow success, but he remains extremely well treated on previous form and is expected to go well again. So Savvy might still be a maiden, but he’s been running well in defeat and improvement could be forthcoming for a trainer who often does well with his new recruits. Real Estate heads the remainder.

PLAY SMARTER GRIGGY displayed a willing attitude when snapping a losing run with Grace McEntee back aboard at Wolverhampton recently and he should be capable of following up off this 2lb higher mark. Nigg Bay is likely to give it a good shot and Real Estate has to enter calculations, but So Savvy has dipped to a workable mark and is feared most on debut for the Michael Appleby yard.
