CITY SELECTIONS This is a big drop in class for WOOLHAMPTON, who filled the runner-up berth in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury in July, and she can make good use of the fillies’ allowance to finally get off the mark. The winner had already flown by the time Appointed One got into a rhythm on his racecourse debut here in July but it was still an encouraging effort from the Godolphin-owned colt. Radio Goo Goo showed good speed at Southwell last month and it’s noteworthy that Owen Lewis keeps the ride on David Evans’ filly.

PLAY SMARTER WOOLHAMPTON has performed with credit in stronger races than this and it would be disappointing if she were not able to get off the mark here. Charlie Appleby’s once-raced Appointed One looks the obvious threat with improvement expected. Radio Goo Goo and Harry Brown can fight it out for third.
