CITY SELECTIONS LIL’ FRANK made a very pleasing racecourse debut at Doncaster when beaten a length and three-quarters into third. Roger Varian’s colt was finishing strongly at the line, shaping as though the step up from 7f will be a positive. Nanga Parbat also made a pleasing start to his career when runner-up over 6f at Newbury, and he is expected to stay a mile. Think First heads the remainder.

Inexperience meant that LIL’ FRANK was unable to reward his many supporters when third at Doncaster on debut last month. Sure to have derived a great deal from that initial outing, Roger Varian’s colt is fancied to go in at the second time of asking. Nanga Parbat really caught the eye with his finishing effort when runner-up on debut at Newbury and he looks the obvious danger to the selection significantly upped in trip.
