Her Majesty’s last winner at Catterick was GALLEON on 17th August 2012.
Her Majesty had a life-long passion for horseracing, and it has been Catterick’s great privilege to have witnessed her horses racing and winning here.
There will be a two minute silence held at approximately 1.35pm today in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
Everyone at Catterick Racecourse is deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen, and we join the whole country in extending our condolences to His Majesty The King and the other members of the Royal Family.

All Betting Ring Enquiries should be directed to the Betting Ring Manager
At all Catterick race meetings we has a minimum of two fully qualified equine vets who are employed to look after the welfare of all horses in action. They work closely with a British Horseracing Authority Veterinary Officer who is also always in attendance. In the unfortunate event of an accident or a horse becoming hurt or injured, the racecourse vets are on hand to act swiftly and treat a horse without delay. It is now standard procedure that all racecourses have modern, fully equipped horse ambulances so that horses can be moved and treated in more comfort. If a horse is injured out on the course, the vets and their assistants will erect screens enabling them to work in private the use of screens will not automatically mean the horse has been seriously injured. Serious injuries at Catterick Racecourse are thankfully very rare, but we regard any injury, however slight it may be, an absolute priority and we would like to assure all racegoers that we have the right people, the right equipment and right procedures to deal with them efficiently
Abandonment before 1st race full refund
