A Warm Welcome to our annual Christmas Jumper Raceday!
As we celebrate our final fixture of 2025, I’d like to begin by thanking each and every one of you for your support today and throughout the year. It’s wonderful to see so many of you here enjoying a festive day at the races.
Due to significant rainfall across November (154mm) and December (55mm to date) having an impact on our Chase track, all races today will be run on the Inner Hurdle Track, with the Pertemps Network Hurdle remaining our feature contest of the afternoon at 1.40pm.
Whether you’re hoping to pick a winner, spending time with friends and family, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, I am sure you’ll have a fantastic day with us
Our Christmas Jumper Competition takes place at 2pm by the Parade Ring, with prizes for the best-dressed Adult, Child, and even Dogs in festive attire!
Advice to make the most of your day:
Study the form – Check the runners, and take a look at the horses in the Parade Ring before each race
Explore our food and drink outlets – Offering everything from hearty local dishes to quick race-day favourites.
Stay connected – Follow us on social media for updates and behind-the-scenes moments.
A heartfelt thank you to all our racegoers, hospitality guests, sponsors, owners, trainers, jockeys, and the dedicated racecourse team who help make every fixture possible

I wish you a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, a safe journey home, and a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
Best Wishes, Helen
Willis

There’s surely more to come from Roaring Conquest having defeated a more-seasoned campaigner on handicap debut at Windsor, while Letos was much improved when winning a 2 1/2m Listed handicap on heavy ground at Naas and is one to note in the betting upped markedly in trip

In handicap races, horses that have won before off the same/higher ratings are flagged as ‘well handicapped’.
