A warm welcome to Carlisle Racecourse for Caledonia Park Ladies Night!
Whether you are a seasoned racing enthusiast or enjoying your first visit, we are delighted to have you with us for the biggest event of the year on our new Ladies Night. The evening promises to deliver glamour, style, entertainment and thrilling horse races!
Our Ladies Night at Carlisle Racecourse is an extra special event and the only one of it’s kind featuring an all-female jockey card! We would like to extend a huge thank you to all Jockeys, Trainers and Owners for supporting the card today. The Female Stable Staff Charity Race in aid of Racing Welfare is due off at 4.20pm shortly followed by the first race under rules at 5.00pm.
It’s Ladies Night off the track too as the Style Awards, in partnership with Caledonia Park Designer Outlet, return with some fantastic prizes, head to page to find out how to enter!
And the celebrations don’t stop there, join us after racing to dance the night away with ABBA The Party!
Whilst you are here, be sure to explore everything the course has to offer from the range of bars, food outlets, betting facilities and viewing areas. Our friendly team are on hand to help with anything you might need throughout the day so please just ask.
A huge thanks goes out to all our sponsors today for their generous support from our Title Sponsor and Style Awards Partner Caledonia Park Designer Outlet, PricedUp and Cairndale Spa.
Don’t forget to visit the team from Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland under the marquee if you are in need of any little gifts too!
Thanks again for supporting us today, I hope you have a wonderful evening and we look forward to seeing you again very soon!
With best wishes,
Helen Willis Carlisle Racecourse General Manager

YERMANTHERE’s latest second to a progressive 3-y-o over C&D appeals as good form and he can resume winning ways under Joanna Mason. On The River overcame trouble in running to get up late in the Carlisle Bell on that same card 10 days ago and rates an obvious danger with the ground likely to be in his favour again. PLAY SMARTER
IDYLLIC deserved plenty of credit when winning over C&D on penultimate start and having been found out upped in class last time, she can make the most of the drop in grade on return to this track. Whatacracker again gave his running when third at Beverley in May and should be thereabouts while Chillhi could be a danger to all if the headgear has the same effect second time around.

CATTON LADY and Bellasio both won divisions of the same handicap over a mile here last month and are taken to fight out the finish. The latter still has low mileage and is not passed over lightly, but Catton Lady remains on a workable mark up 3lb and she is preferred. Milteye has been knocking on the door this season and he is third choice, while Tee Aitch Aye is also worthy of consideration.
