PLAY SMARTER THE NAVIGATOR has scored twice over hurdles lately and is nicely handicapped back on the Flat, so he seems like the way to go in a thin race. Whitwell deserves respect after his recent second at Thirsk and Jamil can’t be ruled out, but the others have something to prove.
