VEE DANCER represents a very shrewd outfit and showed more than previously when sixth in a big-field handicap at Down Royal last month, seemingly finding 3m taxing him. A few in with a shout but the vote goes to Tom Lacey’s LOSSIEMOUTH. He’s proving most progressive having been switched to handicaps, making it 2 from 2 under this promising claimer, and he can shrug off another hefty rise in the weights to bring up a quick-fire hat-trick. Storm Nelson arrives chasing an impressive 4-timer so he can provide the main threat on reappearance, ahead of Sultans Pride.
