DANZAN was able to put an end to a losing run when successful over C&D last Monday. Tim Easterby’s 10-year-old remains competitively handicapped under a 4lb penalty and is taken to follow up. Mattice was another who hadn’t won for a while before scoring at Carlisle latest and he merits respect off a 6lb higher mark. Thunderstorm Katie, who finished fourth in behind Danzan last week, should not be overlooked.

ZEBRA STAR wandered around after hitting the front before winning over C&D last week, and a 5lb penalty may not stop her if she is produced a little later here and doesn’t get lonely in front, while Sweet Kiss could surprise in third assuming she takes to the step up in trip.
