A few have questions to answer in this race and the Irish raider Mourne Lass is more appealing than most, having run creditably when second at Carlisle on her latest start. In the hands of Brian Hughes, the daughter of Kalanisi should go well but it may prove best focusing on TFOU, who was sent off second favourite on his hurdling debut at Newcastle last month and looks capable of progressing. Hogan finished behind the useful Lac De Constance when fifth on his first racecourse start at Warwick and cannot be discounted either.
