Good afternoon and welcome to Aintree Racecourse for what is set to be another brilliant evening of racing and live music. Things will get underway at 5.15pm with the racingtv.com Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle, while the last runners and riders will go to post at 8.45pm We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who are supporting racing today, including Huyton Asphalt and Inkerman London We wish them and their friends a wonderful evening

The real party begins straight after racing on the Red Rum Lawn, where we will be ready and waiting to welcome Pete Tong, Jules Buckley and an incredible 65-piece orchestra for a night of Ibiza Classics – which will include many of your favourite club tracks like you’ve never heard them before. We’re delighted to welcome the group back for what we are sure will be a great evening of live entertainment.

Today’s fixture is the last in what has been a truly special season here at Aintree Racecourse. We’ve witnessed thrilling action throughout, from seeing the victorious return of Randox Grand National winner Noble Yeats in the Many Clouds Chase back in December, to welcoming superstar Constitution Hill to Merseyside, we really have had a taste of it all.

An unforgettable afternoon was had on Randox Grand National day when the winning combination of Lucinda Russell, Derek Fox and Corach Rambler claimed victory in the world’s most famous steeplechase, giving Lucinda and her team a second win in the iconic race. These are just a few of the many stories to have unfolded here over the last 10 months, and we can’t wait to return in October to do it all over again.
