The international level of competition is known as Concours Complet International or CCI, and there are two formats, CCI-L for long format over three of four days, and CCI-S for short format over one or two days. The Olympic Games and FEI World Equestrian Games exist in their own special category, where dressage and show jumping are at CCI5*-L level, while cross-country is at the CCI4*-L level of difficulty.
