1. HOW DO I ENTER AND DECLARE HORSES?

2. HOW TO DO WE ACCESS THE STABLE YARD

On arrival at the course before you unload your horse. Take photo ID and your horse’s passport to the stable office and register with the BHA security team. You will then be issued a stable number and given access. When you unload your horse, it will need to be presented to security in order to have its microchip read and its passport checked. 4. CAN MY HORSE STAY ON THE LORRY, AS WE DO AT POINT TO POINTS?

No all horses must be stabled during the race meeting. Your stable number will be allocated by the security team on your arrival at the stable yard.

5. HOW DO I GET ENTRY / OWNERS BADGES?

Most courses will send an email at entry and declaration stage outlining their badge policy and how to collect badges. If you do not receive this call the racecourse concerned. They will always be happy to help.

6. CAN I USE THE OWNERS FACILITIES ON THE DAY?

Yes, you will have full access unless alternative arrangements have been made and communicated to you.

7. WILL I BE WITH OTHER RACE OWNERS AND TREATED THE SAME?

Yes

8. HOW DO I BOOK GUEST BADGES / EXTRAS TICKETS?

This can be done via the PASS system. If you are not registered to use this, call and email the course you wish to attend with your requests.

9. WILL I HAVE TO PAY FOR EXTRA BADGES?

It depends on each courses badge policy so discuss with them direct.

10. HOW DO I GET A LICENCE TO RIDE UNDER RULES?

11. CAN I SADDLE MY HORSE IN THE SADDLING BOXES (NEXT TO PRE PARADE) OR IN THE STABLE YARD?

You can do either

12. CAN AMATEUR JOCKEYS USE ALL THE FACILITIES IN THE WEIGHING ROOM AND CHANGING ROOM?

Yes – facilities are available for all jockeys riding at the fixture
