Vecova’s Bottle Pick-Up Service is a free service allowing you to make a non-cash donation to Vecova. We save you a trip to the bottle depot and write you an annual tax receipt.
When you use Vecova’s Recycling Services, all proceeds go directly to supporting Vecova’s programs, services and research. You are making an impact on the lives of countless Albertans of all abilities.
Residential pickups are scheduled every 10 weeks. We provide email, text and telephone reminders to help you remember to put your empties out. A collection email will be sent after your pickups for your records.
On the drop-off date provided to you, we will leave you a Bag Buddy stand and Vecova bag. See reverse for instructions. If you have any empties on drop-off day, leave them in bags marked Vecova.
The value of your donation is estimated by our drivers, as illustrated below, who will credit you appropriately per Vecova bag. We work to keep our estimates within 5% of the bottle depot refund.
3 Wine Cases = 3 x 12 bottles x $0.10 = $3.60
1/4 Bag = ~40 containers x $0.10 = $4.00
