On May 13, 2024, the San Joaquin County Office of Education recognized 91 Pinnacle and 193 Distinguished Student award winners, representing 38 schools. Pinnacle awardees represent the top 1 percent of the graduating seniors in Calaveras and San Joaquin Counties. Distinguished Student awardees represent the next 2 percent. These students are recognized for their achievement in three areas: academics, extra-curricular activities, and citizenship or community service. As you look through this publication, you will notice how the community has been enriched by the endeavors of these young people.
