Mike Hosoda Based in Las Vegas, Mike Hosoda is a queer, disabled, first-generation Japanese-American designer.

Mike’s love for design was sparked in 2011, durng his first graphic design course at Valencia College, where he encountered a fellow student’s portfolio piece that would change his life forever a simple typographic poster showcasing the Garamond ampersand.

Since then, Mike has dedicated himself to mastering the art of design, studying at the College of Southern Nevada, where he began to develop his unique visual language incorporatingcSwiss Modern & Bauhaus design theory.

In 2019, Mike launched his design studio RONIN CREATIVE, where he specializes in merchandise, album artwork, ad layout, poster design, & brand identity.

In addition to his design work, Mike is an avid collector of vinyl records, design books, & comic books. He is also a passionate fan of horror movies, drawing inspiration from filmmakers like Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Jordan Peele, Robert Eggers, & the catalog of films produced by A24.

Despite facing numerous obstacles in his life, Mike has become a well-known figure in the heavy music community as the “Wheelchair Crowdsurfer,” a testament to his resilience and determination.
