Tarleton State University TRADITIONS HALL NORTH AND SOUTH Tarleton State University | Stephenville, Texas Traditions North and South are two new four-story residence halls on the Tarleton State University campus in Stephenville, Texas. They house 616 students in a suite-style environment, with two and four-bedroom units that include individual bedrooms, private restrooms and a small commons area. The first building on the new 80-acre campus serves a multitude of student needs from educational to support services. The three-story, 76,000 SF building includes general use classrooms, tiered classrooms, computer labs, teaching labs, departmental and faculty offices/support space, meeting rooms, study spaces and wellness/exercise areas. The building was designed on a standard office and classroom module to allow the spaces to be easily reconfigured and reprogrammed as the campus grows and new buildings are constructed. A temporary central plant was constructed within a mechanical yard which will be replaced with a central utility loop once additional buildings are added. SF $28.4M

MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING 1

Tarleton State University HONORS HALL EXPANSION Tarleton State University | Stephenville, Texas This expansion takes Honors Hall at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, from 184 beds to 486 beds, increasing its size from approximately 50,000 SF to 150,000 SF. The expanded hall now features a two-story multipurpose space, study lounges on each floor, an honors classroom, office space and a primary care health clinic. www.jqeng.com ANIMAL & PLANT SCIENCES CENTER Tarleton State University | Stephenville, Texas This $10 million modernization includes three primary components. Component one is a laboratory building comprised of six teaching/learning labs, two lab prep spaces and a retail store for farm product display and sales. Component two is a covered outdoor animal area containing a large open-sided barn with a teaching arena and penning to work and sort animals. Component three is a separate greenhouse/planting building that comprises space for prep, demonstration, testing and forage gardening. Tarleton State University MEMORIAL STADIUM RENOVATIONS AND EXPANSION Tarleton State University | Stephenville, Texas Home of the Tarleton State Football and Track and Field teams, the project increased Memorial Stadium’s capacity from 6,719 to 9,400 seats. Structural engineering scope included renovations to the existing fieldhouse, new home grandstands on the west side, press box and suites, game day support spaces, entry plaza, fencing, athletic lighting and improvements to the existing east grandstands and circulation. Each floor features a kitchen/lounge space, and the first floor includes a classroom. The four-story, 150,000 SF complex boasts wood-framed construction and was delivered via public-private partnership. Tarleton State University AQUATICS CENTER Tarleton State University | Stephenville, Texas The new aquatic center addition will be located at the northwest corner of the existing recreation center and will include indoor and outdoor pools, a therapy/training room, a training lab, locker rooms, offices and support spaces. The project consists of approximately 20,000 GSF of new construction, reconfiguration of 2,800 SF of the existing building and 5,900 SF of new outdoor spaces. The renovation of the 61,500 SF O.A. Grant Building and a 26,000 SF addition provided a state-of-the-art media convergence lab, digital media lab, classrooms, seminar rooms and faculty offices at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Modifications included a two-story vertical expansion and a horizontal expansion on three sides of the current lecture hall space. The project also featured life safety, ADA and MEP upgrades. O.A. GRANT HUMANITIES BUILDING ADDITION AND RENOVATION

INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION BUILDING

To support Tarleton’s continued growth in the DFW Metroplex, this project consists of a second academic building on the 80-acre fort Worth Campus, which opened in the Fall of 2019. The new facility will be sited to the west of Building 1 and will contain approximately 102,000 GSF on four levels and will house programs specific to the College of Education and College of Health Sciences and Human Services, as well as shared use resources including centrally scheduled classroom space, collaboration space and a student commons, event space, and flexible shared office space. In addition to expanding multi-disciplinary offerings on the new Fort Worth Campus, the project will also include an exterior component that will begin construction of the Formal Mall and create a stronger campus experience. Key program components will include classrooms and computer labs for all programs, specialized laboratories and activity spaces for the School of Kinesiology, general science laboratories for STEM educators, and laboratories for health sciences.

NURSING BUILDING

This project consists of a new, three-story 55,000 GSF facility that includes tiered lecture halls, two large nursing skills labs with functioning headwalls and teaching space, a nursing station with computerized charting, medication delivery systems that can be accessed from both labs and an accessible partial roof. The structural systems consist of a structured ground floor with partial crawl space below, drilled pier foundations and three levels of structural steel framing. 55,000 SF Cost: $15.9M
