Team, Please let this email serve as the official “kick-off” communication for the Q[X] 20[XX] investor report (IR) cycle. As a reminder, the IR process starts before the end of the reporting period (T15) as per our Unit’s M&E process. Some of the activities that we'll be accomplishing in the coming weeks include: 1. Officially kicking off the IR process with the IM Division team (this email) (T-15). 2. Reorienting ourselves with the M&E process and the key activities that we must complete for our assigned portfolio companies, including re-reading the prior quarter IRs (T-10). 3. Preparing for the Portfolio Review Meeting 0 (PRM0) on [SCHEDULED DATE OF MEETING] – wherein the Portfolio Manager (PM), Relationship Managers (RM), the Shared Growth Services - Group CFO, Shared Growth Services - Group COO and the Director of Asset Management will discuss the general outlook of the portfolio and highlevel content of [INSERT INV./FUND MANAGER NAME]’s commentary for each portfolio company (T+1). 4. Initiate external communication with our assigned portfolio companies using our standardized template (T+2). 5. Commence drafting [INSERT INV./FUND MANAGER NAME] commentary for our assigned portfolio companies (T+2). Please review the following IR tools and M&E section of the Asset Management SOP so that you are familiar with the process and each task's timeline. Each task is assigned to a specific individual, so please ensure you have time allocated for advancing this work. Please note, we are pursuing a goal of completing timely and accurate IRs within [X] days of quarter end, so an internal deadline of sending the IRs to investors on [MONTH, DAY, 20XX].
