To the families, friends and spirited fans supporting all of the gymnasts this weekend at the USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championships ... it is my pleasure to welcome you to West Chester University.

We are excited to host this year’s National Championship event. This tournament is the culmination of a successful year for these student-athletes and the countless hours of practice, dedication, and sacrifice it has taken to reach this point in the season. I cannot wait for the amazing performances we are sure to witness throughout the weekend of competition.

Founded in 1871 as an institute for teacher preparation, West Chester University is a comprehensive public institution, offering more than 118 undergraduate, 120+ graduate programs and four doctoral programs in more than 50 fields of study with an enrollment of nearly 17,000 students.

Former West Chester University gymnast, Majesta Valentine, won the All-Around National Championship in 2017 at Seattle Pacific University. She is the only Golden Rams gymnast to bring home a national championship at the USA Gymnastics Women’s Collegiate National Championships.
