The third, Shachihoko, is a Japanese spirit that would bring about deep rains and storms Thalassophobia, the fear of deep water is represented by this creature. The fourth, Lampalugua, is Chilean creature that hunts in the night. Hence Nyctophobia, the fear of the dark, is the phobia in this movement. Finally, the Cù-sìth is a Gaelic creature that hunts completely silently except for three barks. The phobia represented in this movement is Sedataphobia, the fear of stillness or quietness.
SOLITUDE(2022)
This piece is inspired by the experience of being alone in the Covid-19 lockdown and all of the emotions, chaos, and acceptance that comes with it. Written not to long after that experience, it has a bit of controlled chaos and a lot of Trombone.
DUELBETWEENFMINORANDA-FLATMAJOR(2022)
A piece written purely for fun and goofiness, Duel Between F Minor and Ab Major is a piece meant to embrace the western duel. With two soloists playing in slightly different keys and a trio egging them on, all sorts of fun can be had with this much more lighthearted piece.
