Acoustic Therapy – A Boon For Men Suffering from Erectile Dysfunction
With busier lifestyles, people are always on the go and have very less time to focus on healthy eating habits. To-go foods, lack of exercise, medical issues, emotional & hormonal imbalance, lack of proper functioning of blood vessels and muscles are some of the prime reasons which cause several medical illnesses, Erectile Dysfunction a.k.a ED being one of them.
Erectile Dysfunction is the inability of a man to have and maintain an erection during sexual intercourse. Losing erection once in a while is no big deal for most of the couples, but if it gets regular, it can lead to several problems such as causing lack of confidence, bad relationships, depression and more.
What causes ED?
Both physical as well as psychological factors go hand in hand as the major cause of ED in men.
Some of the physical causes include, but are not limited to, obesity, diabetes, clogged blood vessels, tobacco use, low testosterone, sleep disorder, regular intake of alcohol, high cholesterol and others. On the other hand, depression, anxiety, stress, poor relationship with spouse, etc. are some of the psychological aspects which play a major role in causing ED.
With aging in men, the blood vessels which supply proper blood flow to the penis develop a micro-plaque film which over the time causes decay and closes the vessels. Resultantly, men either have hard time having proper erection (due to lack of blood flow) or lose the erection before achieving orgasm.
What is the solution?
ED has been seen to be affecting nearly 50% of the men over 50s. Still, it is one of the topics which is least discussed. Most of the couples have poor sexual life, but still shy away to discuss it with their doctors due to the fear of being judged. However, if any of them builds up enough courage to bring it up infront of their doctor, they are then bombarded with never-ending prescriptions of pills, oils, shots and pumps to handle the issue temporarily. Where these temporary solutions come with little to no benefits, the main cause of ED still remains untouched.
