| A Faithful Year
A LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT What a year we had! The 2019-20 school year will certainly go down in the history books as one of the strangest and most challenging school years in decades. But it will also be long remembered for the “can-do” spirit demonstrated by parents, students, teachers, and staff as everyone pitched in together to successfully continue our students’ education. And successful it was! Our teachers spent hours upon hours learning new ways to teach with technology while our students persevered through distance learning with both groups supported by our wonderful parents.

That joint effort to overcome the obstacles we faced reached its pinnacle as we gathered as family for graduation celebrations at the upper campus in July. Even in the midst of trials, God faithfully provides us the strength and determination to continue the journey. Enjoy this look at the 2019-20 school year and join with us in celebration of God’s work in all of our lives. —Jim Sullivan

LEGACY COACH RICARDS BEYOND SPORTS
As Athletic Director Charlie Ricards retired after 40 years of service, his impact on the lives of students will never be forgotten. Coach Ricards consistently and mightily invested in students—mentoring them through wins and losses and coming alongside them through personal loss. He encouraged them to always rise above the circumstances and demonstrate integrity, hard work, honesty, and excellent sportsmanship. Coach Ricards’ reach went beyond sports to touch the lives and hearts of others. Thank you, Coach, for your faithful service!

“
I see how the school puts Christ first. They instill that love relationship with the Lord which is essential, and they integrate it through academics. They pray for the kids, they want them to succeed. They’re preparing them for college, but I know their heart and their goal is to make sure that the students’ relationship with the Lord comes first. - Albert Sandoval, current parent
