SOUTH WARREN HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS’ GOLF

Congratulations to the KHSAA Girls’ Golf State Semifinalists from South Warren High School!

EPIC NUMERACY ALLIANCE GRANT

We're thrilled to announce that 44 teachers from WCPS are participating in the Cohort 1 Epic Numeracy Alliance, supported by HB 162. This incredible twoyear professional learning program includes engaging learning modules from Carnegie Learning and onsite coaching visits Teachers will collaborate with peers from our region to enhance their math instruction for grades 3-8!

BURLINGTON DONATION TO LOST RIVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

TURKEY & CHICKEN DRIVE

We're hosting a frozen turkey/chicken donation drive to help our families this holiday season! You can drop them off during the week (not open on weekends) November 6November 20, 2024 (8:30 a m - 4:30 p m ) at the front desk of the WCPS Board of Education (303 Lovers Lane)

NEW DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Congratulations to Dr Wesley Waddle on being named our new Director of Human Resources!

Dr. Waddle is excited to be part of the WCPS family and brings with him 27 years of experience in K-12 education!

SEPTEMBER GOLDEN APPLE WINNERS

Congratulations to our September Golden Apple Winners: Amber Wheeldon, Felita Holder and Jill Reneau from Central Office, and Dustin Pitts from WCPS' Technology Department!

NETWORK UPGRADE

WCPS’ Technology Department is upgrading $1.4 million in network equipment!

WCPS Technology is installing the equipment that will result in our District saving $80,000!

KY ASSOCIATION FOR ACADEMIC COMPETITION HALL OF FAME!
