I hope you experienced a proud and productive first day of school with our students. The cabinet members and I upheld the longstanding tradition of visiting schools on opening day, and it was rewarding to see the results of the tireless planning and preparation by all of Team WCPS.
I am always reminded of our faculty and staff members' dedication when witnessing the hopeful faces of our students as they embark upon a new school year. The amount of planning and preparation prior to a new school year is often underappreciated, but please know that your efforts are recognized. The spirit of cooperation demonstrated by all members of Team WCPS is remarkable, and I encourage you to maintain your focus on our mission as you engage with our students each day. Let's strive to make this the most successful year together!
