ON THE STATE STAGE
BRISTOW STUDENTS SHINE AT THE KENTUCKY STATE FAIR Bristow Elementary’s Peas and Carrots Garden had a memorable day at the Kentucky State Fair, earning third place in the School Garden Squash Contest! The team was one of just eight schools selected from 19 entries statewide to compete. Fifth-grade students Layla Kate Dennison and Adley Gwilliam joined Ms. Jourden and cafeteria manager, Mrs. Amanda, in Louisville to prepare and showcase their original recipe, Squash Tots. The students did a wonderful job demonstrating the recipe and sharing how the garden positively impacts students at Bristow. Congratulations to this outstanding team!
GROWING TEAM WCPS
WELCOME TO TEAM WCPS! Our New Teacher Academy welcomed new educators to Warren County Public Schools as they began their journey with Team WCPS. The academy provided opportunities for new teachers to connect with colleagues, learn more about our district and schools, and build a strong foundation for success in the classroom.

INVESTING IN OUR OWN
CELEBRATING OUR GROW YOUR OWN EDUCATORS
This year’s Grow Your Own participants celebrate on stage with their certificates.
Warren County Public Schools recognized this year’s Grow Your Own participants — district employees taking the next step toward becoming certified teachers in the schools and communities they already serve.
Each participant received a certificate on stage, surrounded by the district leaders, principals, and mentors supporting them along the way. Congratulations to every one of these educators. We are proud to invest in our own and can’t wait to see the impact they make for WCPS students!
