Sitting Service For Children Ages 6 Weeks Old to 9 Years Old

The Sitting Service Program is a “casual care” service and is NOT a state licensed day care. The service is free to parents/legal guardians only, who are utilizing the recreation facilities and amenities. Due to limited participation numbers established by state regulations, we offer this program to our patrons as a limited time sitting service, available on a first come, first served basis. No reservations will be taken and you may not hold spots for others. This is not a guaranteed service to all patrons and facility pass holders. Racquetball Court Reservations • All court reservations can be made by phone or in person.

• Reservations can be made two days in advance.

For example, to make a reservation for a Wednesday, you may call as early as Monday morning, at 5:00am.

• Cost for a court reservation is $4.00 per hour.

• Regular facility admission fees still apply (annual pass/visit pass/daily admission).

• Persons wishing to reserve a racquetball court will be allowed to reserve either court at any time within the 48 hour window, if a court is available.

Attention Patrons Please do not leave personal belongings unattended in the facility i.e. gym, wellness centers, etc. Patrons are encouraged to utilize the FREE locker service located at the front desk or in the wellness center to secure valuables. If you choose to use a

This amazing workshop will provide kids with a delectable sample to "Taste the Arts" through a rotation of activities that will encourage characterizations, musicality, movement and creativity. Kids will work with a fabulous team of instructors as they spend time learning how to paint, how to make music with everyday items, hip hop dance and act on stage. *Children will need to bring a packed lunch and drink.

Group Fitness Information & Policies • Group Fitness Classes ARE NOT included in the Facility Passes – they must be paid for separately.

• Participants can choose to either pay a walk-in fee, per visit or purchase monthly or yearly Group Fitness Passes.

• Passes are good for admission to all Aerobics, Aqua Fitness and Indoor Cycling classes (provided you scan your pass and collect a bike tag from the front desk for Indoor Cycling classes).

• Passes are interchangeable between the Franklin Recreation Complex, the Longview Recreation Center, the Indoor Sports Complex, the Nolensville Recreation Complex and the Fairview Recreation Complex. Once a pass has been purchased, it is valid at any of these 5 facilities.

• User is entitled to general admission to the Franklin Recreation Complex, the Longview Recreation Center, the Indoor Sports Complex, the Fairview Recreation Complex, and Nolensville Recreation Complex to use ONLY the indoor facilities. It DOES NOT include admission to outdoor pools or any other

Due to liability restrictions, no one under the age of 13 may participate or be in the room while fitness classes are in session.

“WOW” Oil Landscape Painting with Shirley Barker Discover the Joy of a “WOW” Painting! During this class, students will learn a layering process that allows them to paint landscapes that include tranquil trees, majestic mountains, striking waterfalls or graceful lakes all in one sitting. Timberland Park Senior Trail Walk & Picnic Whether you just want to walk with a purpose or just for fun we have the trails for you! Timberland Park has trails of various distances and difficulties as well as an ADA accessible trail. We will have a nature presentation at the Interpretive Center just prior to lunch. Lunch will be provided by HoneyBaked Ham. Please select your sandwich preference when you register. This event is $10 per person or $15 per couple; the cost includes lunch. Don’t forget your walking shoes and bug spray.

AARP Smart Driving Course WCPR is pleased to announce that we are hosting an AARP Smart Driving class on Tuesday, November 3rd and Thursday, November 5th for adults 55 and up. This course is from 9am-1pm both days and will be located at our Williamson County Complex at Nolensville. This two day course helps drivers improve their skills that could help avoid traffic violations or other accidents. Coffee and drinks will be provided, but you will want to bring a snack. You must attend both days to receive credit for this course. Check with your insurance company for possible discounts for taking this course.

Games Galore In September join us to play some large group games. We will be active and play some games that will have everyone moving. We will serve a dinner of Spaghetti, French bread, salad, drinks and dessert.

This October we are playing Kickball. We will cheer out friends on and have a friendly game. We will serve a dinner or chicken tenders, salad, drinks, chips, and ice cream for dessert.

Super Saturday Respite Participants will enjoy a fun filled day of activities with their friends such as: crafts, games, and Wii. Participants should bringa sack lunch, snack and drink. Fitness Fun Come join us and get fit and have fun at the same time. We begin with stretching by using exercises and resistance bands then transition into strengthening with light hand weights and stability balls. We complete our workout with a 30 minute walk. Please be aware that we walk outside on the walking trail when weather permits and upstairs on the indoor walking track during colder or rainy weather. Social Night Come out and enjoy a night of good food, friends and fun! Here, we will enjoy each other’s company while either playing games, movie night, making crafts or having a special event. Every month will be different than the last!

Recreation Night In September join us for our Annual Fall Festival and Hay Ride. We will have a dance with a DJ to keep things moving and a hay hide before our dinner of BBQ, cole slaw, baked beans, chips, drinks and desserts.

Come out in October and decorate a pumpkin to take home. We will have fun socializing and making one of a kind pumpkin. We will serve dinner of Pizza, salad, chips, drinks, and dessert.

Dress comfy in your Pjs or lounge wear this November. We are having Breakfast for Dinner. Participants will get to assist making some of their favorite breakfast foods on griddles including, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, and cut fresh fruit. They will also watch some old favorite cartoons on their big screen.

Dance Exploration

The Rhythm & Spirit Program is excited to begin offereing a “Dance Exploration” class starting this fall! This class is specifically designed for our friends in need of an alternate setting. Participants should be able to work independently and follow instructions. Our goal is to learn a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, hip hop, and creative movement. We will also incorporate a variety of cultural dances and movements oriented games. There will be 2 parent watch days for friends and family to come enjoy our progress at the end of class!
