Bob Ross Certified Oil Painting

Join Certified Ross Instructor®, Quintin Burlingame, as he leads students of all skill levels through the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique® made famous on the PBS program, The Joy of Painting®. Students of all skill levels will learn techniques that culminate in a beautiful, finished 12x16 oil painting in just 2.5 hours. Enrollment is limited. Workshops are offered monthly at WCPR facilities in Franklin, Fairview, Longview in Spring Hill, and Nolensville.

Watercolor Florals

If you have ever wanted to paint beautiful flowers with watercolors, but have been unsure about how to start, this is the class for you! Come and learn basic watercolor techniques and/or refine your skills in a fun and collaborative setting. Participants will learn to create beautiful floral themed watercolor paintings and build skills throughout this 4 week course. Acrylic Painting: Landscapes

Come and learn basic acrylic techniques and/or refine your skills in a fun and collaborative setting. Participants will learn to create landscape paintings in the style of their choosing during this 4-week class. Participants will need to bring 2-3 inspiration pictures that they took of the landscape (rural or urban) printed out in color. Creative Sketch Booking

Come and learn more about fun and engaging ways to use your sketchbook. Do you want to find ways to fuel your ideas for creations? Do you want to challenge yourself to push your artistic skills? Do you just want to use your sketchbook to bring peace and stress reduction to your life through engaging in creativity? In this three-week exploration of our sketch books we will experiment with lots of ideas, prompts, and techniques to infuse renewed excitement into your everyday creativity. Heather will provide watercolors, sharpies, gel pens, and other items to experiment with and students will bring their own supplies for this class (see registration for a complete supply list). Adult Acrylic Painting Class

Come paint with Kris Salva at The Enrichment Center. Class takes place every other Thursday. Students will paint a variety of subjects and experiment with different styles of acrylic painting. All materials are provided by this instructor.

Painting in Water Media

In this four week class, explore the possibilities of water media by combining watercolor, acrylic, ink, and more. Discover ways to use each medium to enhance the others, and experiment with fun techniques to add texture and detail to any subject, from landscape to abstraction. Enjoy weekly demonstrations and one-onone conversations in a collaborative atmosphere. Learn how to find an intuitive balance between control and spontaneity. All levels are welcome, including beginners. Learn how to use the natural world as your inspiration for painting abstractly. Explore expressive color and textural effects to help you find the right balance between control and spontaneity. Experiment with watercolor, acrylic, ink and more. Discover how versatile paint on paper can be as you explore techniques to create a personal path to abstraction. Art Inspired by Nature

Explore fun and easy ways to make art inspired by nature. First we’ll stimulate creativity by engaging the senses and connecting with nature on a slow and relaxing guided walk in Judge Fulton Greer Park. After the walk, we’ll move inside to explore open-ended and expressive approaches to painting. Art supplies are included. Feel free to bring a water bottle and snack or sack lunch. All levels are welcome, including beginners.
