In order to register for an activity, please click directly on the registration code listed in this guide or visit wcparksandrec.com. Dungeons & Dragons – Infernal Machine Rebuild
WCPR is proud to offer the roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons. The structure to the stories brings new ways to determine the consequences of the adventurers’ actions. Players roll dice to determine whether their attacks hit or miss and whether their characters can scale a cliff, roll away from the strike of a magical lightning bolt, or pull off some other dangerous task. Anything is possible, but the dice make some things more probable than others. Premade characters and dice will be provided. No experience, knowledge, or supplies are necessary. Optionally, you can read the rules or make your own character for free at dndbeyond.com
DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS: INFERNAL MACHINE REBUILD - In “Dungeons and Dragons: Infernal Machine Rebuild,” a fallen clock tower holds components from an ancient artifact. Launch expeditions to uncover additional components scattered across distant places—and times. The lost Temple of Moloch and the unfinished Tomb of Horrors are two of those locations. Classes meet every other week. Instructor: Quintin Burlingame

Rising Stars Performances –
Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins JR.
The Rising Stars winter production for 2023 will be Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins JR, based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the Broadway musical that played for over 2,500 performances and received multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations. The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

Musical Theatre Experience PerformancesRoald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach JR.
In this delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, a boy and his insect friends take an amazing journey across the ocean. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of challenges along the way. Mission Statement:
It is the goal of the Williamson County Community Chorus to engage passions, inspire achievement, deepen connections and broaden community through choral music.
The Williamson County Community Chorus was founded in 2017 under the direction of Dr. Linda Bolding. The chorus grew quickly and at only 2 years old was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in February 2020. The chorus is open for participation by qualified High School students, adults and seniors who have past experience and a passion for singing. The chorus performs no less than twice a year at the culmination of each session: Fall/Winter (SeptDec) and Spring (Jan-April) and enjoys a break over the summer months. They have performed large scale concerts, singing with an orchestra, and most recently kicked off the Christmas season to an audience of nearly 800. We are delighted for the success of this group and invite residents to audition and to support us in the audience.
The chorus is Directed by Karen Mabry Lewis, a veteran choral music educator from the Dallas area who obtained her BM degree with a concentration in Voice from Belmont University and a MM degree from SMU in Music Education and Vocal Performance.
If you are interested in joining the Williamson County Community Chorus or for more information including sponsorship opportunities and audition appointments, please contact Victoria Reed at (615) 786-0186,ext. 2515 or Victoria.Reed@williamsoncounty-tn.gov or visit wcparksandrec.com
