US Bike Route 20
U.S. Bicycle Route 20
U.S. Bicycle Route 20 (USBR 20) is a planned bicycle route that will expand from Michigan to Oregon. This route is one part of the emerging U.S. Bicycle Route System developing to connect bicyclists and places. In order for USBR 20 to go through Minnesota successfully, MnDOT is planning on using existing trails between Moorhead and St. Cloud to develop USBR 20. Between St. Cloud and Fergus Falls, the route will follow Interstate 94, then go north to Maplewood State Park, through Pelican Rapids, then west to the Fargo/Moorhead Metro area. Hope for Pelican Rapids to become a bicycle tourist destination in the United States exists because of this planned route.
