It’s time! With the cooler weather approaching, it’s almost time for our favorite season… FOOTBALL! All jokes aside, September, deriving from the Latin word “septem” meaning “seven,” had originally been the seventh month in the early Roman calendar. According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, it is the time to gather up the remains of the harvest and prepare for winter. This month has plenty of notable dates. Click on the links to learn more!
