Raindrops splatter against my window
On a rainy day. Outside a car hoots
As I put on my boots
Swinging my door open as my friends scream hey!
I’m bundled in a pirate’s coat
As my friends and I pretend we’re on a boat,
Sailing through flooded puddles along the way.
As it gets dark, It gets cold in the park.
“Time to make my way home,” I say Back home I drink hot chocolate
As a fire is lit.
What an adventure rainy day.

Last night I went to bed, I fell asleep. I woke up I saw mischief ahead.
During the day I am a superhero.
During the night I am a snoring zero. I fight crime with all my might. Leaving the bad guys out of sight. I have some lunch And I have a bunch.
The day is now done And I am me again. Before bed I eat a bun. Then finally I have some fun.
Friendship is when we are kind, And always keep each other in mind. We laugh and play each day, And help each other on the way.
If I am sad, you cheer me up, Like sharing from your favourite cup. We say sorry when we are wrong, And try to get along.
Friendship is special, strong and true, And I am happy when I’m with you.
Ruler of the sky
It’s conquest so high. The rain falls on the ground, Making an ominous sound. It starts out small, But then grows tall.
Thunder and lightning complete with each other The heavy cloud looks on like an exhausted mother.
They fade away as we run for cover
Quickly sheltering one another. We stand amazed Stuck in a gaze Of the wonder of the storm.
A world connected by a silent wire
Of humming circuits and electric fire. The screen glows bright within a room While a digital world begins to loom.
We trade all our time for digital money, All that time for a game really is funny.
A thousand miles are bridged in half a breath As we defy the bounds of space and depth.
But in a rush to build the next machine, We lose the spaces that exist between. The touch of hands, the sound of steady rain, Are things a chip set never can explain.
Yet still we climb this ladder of light, To chase the shadows from the edge of night. A partner built of logic and of code, To walk beside us on this modern road.

Justice and fairness go hand in hand. Yet both are unachievable by man. The enemy of both strangles this land. Greed holds a grip oh so tight.
Both justice and fairness struggle in its might, But both are like a bird that could fly. With enough belief they could lessen greed’s might And stop people from the pain of its unsightly grandeur.
But a bird cannot soar with no wings, Wings that are but you and me. And others in this endless sea. To become what we need it is what we have to see.
To put away our own endless greed, Andadmittheworldwouldbebetterwithjusticeandfairnessatitsstead. Only then will that bird have its needs, And bring the world’s greed to its knees.
