"On 23 August 2006, over 100 guests attended the opening of the Nussbaum Auditorium within the Alf Morris Music Centre. The addition of this impressive auditorium, as well as seven new music rooms, was made possible by the award of a generous donation from the estate of 1940 Wynberg Old Boy, Stefan-Rolf Nussbaum
The guests were treated to a concert by the three Wynberg bands as well as a performance by the school choir. Nussbaum, a well-known music connoisseur, would have been proud of the standard of music at his old school "
The Auditorium and Music Rooms of this building are dedicated to Alf Morris, revered VicePrincipal and teacher at Wynberg Boys' High School from 1948 to 1988. This Music Centre has been renovated by the generosity of the Nussbaum Foundation.
