Wynberg Basketball Tournament 2026 - POPIA Compliance Notification Per the ProtectionofPersonalInformationAct,4 of 2013(POPIA),Wynberg Boys'HighSchool ensures that all participants' personal information is managed in confidence. POPIA requires us to inform you what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it will be stored and retained: The WBHS Media team will livestream all the matches at the event via the Supersport Schools website/app. Photographers will capture all teams, spectator, and action photos for use on our school and associate event websites and social media platforms. An online programme with the names of all players, managers & coaches, referees, and officials will be published and shared. This media will be retained indefinitely by being released into the public domain. Please note: •

Any information that a data subject (e.g., a player, coach, spectator, etc.) makes public through advertising, social media, or any other public communication medium or event is not protected in this Privacy Notice or the school’s Privacy Policy. There is no expectation of privacy in the open spaces of the school’s property and any venue open to the public, or at any event on the school’s property in an open space or venue open to the public.
Full media links, including fixtures and log tables, will be sent to all associates, participating referees, team coaches & managers, and their marketing departments on or before 17 October 2025. Receipt of this notification, and not communicating anything to the contrary by 15h00 on 15 October 2025, will serve as your consent to the stated intended use of all media by WBHS and our event associates.
