Message from the Principal: “Candyland Carnival…it’s so sweet!!” is the theme of the 2014 Carnival at Sunset Hill Elementary. Historically, the Carnival has generated thousands of dollars in revenue, in addition to a night of family fun. The school has used this money to purchase items that have a direct impact on each and every student’s educational experience at Sunset Hill. Thank YOU Sunset Hill families, for your generous donations toward this event: basket items, auction items, time, talent, and attendance at the event. Thank you for the time you spent or will spend volunteering. Thank you for your involvement and financial support of Carnival by attending on Friday, March 14th. Thank you for making a difference! Karen Keffeler Principal
“Candyland Carnival … it’s so sweet!!” Sunset Hill’s Fundraising Carnival As many of you are now familiar, Carnival is a yearly fundraising event. It is a “Sunset Hill” community event run by volunteers and staff. Our students greatly benefit from this event, as the proceeds allow the PTSA the ability to support many activities throughout the school year. We have been very fortunate to have worked with such wonderful people, and this year is no different. A big thank you to our Carnival committee members, teachers, staff, Carnival volunteers, and donors who contributed their time and services/donations toward making our school carnival a successful event! Stefanie Fesenmaier, Diane Hayden, and Connie Helppi Carnival Co-Chairs
Ticket Cards featuring “Candyland” icons Carnival classroom games/activities will require tickets for participation. Food items are payable with either cash or tickets. If you did not buy tickets during conferences or place an order with an advance ticket order form, ticket cards will be sold on the night of Carnival.
