Mandatory Faculty and Staff title IX Training

Waynesburg University worked with United Educators to provide all faculty, staff, students, investigators, hearing officers, and informal resolution facilitators with an annual training program on Title IX Regulations, which is now available on Canvas. Additional Title IX information can be found on our webpage - https:// www.waynesburg.edu/title-ix.

Criminal Justice Job Fair

The annual Criminal Justice Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 29, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm in the Marissa Fieldhouse Every year, nearly 50 local, state, and federal agencies attend this event to recruit interns and job applicants While many of the agencies attending are police and criminal justice-related, there are also private businesses, hospitals, victim services, and other organizations offering internships and career opportunities Faculty are encouraged to tell their students about this event and encourage them to attend All are welcome, we hope to see you there!

We are excited to announce that our 10th Annual Day of Giving (DOG) will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025!

This year marks a major milestone 10 Years of Impact As we approach our 10th Day of Giving, we’re proud to share that this initiative has raised over $2.5 million through more than 10,000 donations over the past nine years These contributions have fueled meaningful change across our campus, and this year we’ll be highlighting stories that demonstrate the real and lasting impact DOG has made in our community

The Writing Center and Eberly Library are combining efforts to celebrate the American Library Association's Banned Books Week between Oct 5-11 Check out the Banned Books display next to the circulation desk in Eberly courtesy of Waynesburg's student Book Club. Then, join us for our Banned Books Week Celebration on Wed., Oct. 8 at 5:30pm in the Skylight room of Eberly Library.

As a WU employee, you have access to over 300,000 eBooks with our EBSCO eBook Collection Check it out! If you ever need assistance with finding or downloading an eBook, please reach out to library staff. eBooks can be found in all the various subjects. Titles and topics vary widely, such as:

The Pathways Center is hosting an open Study Hall for students on Thursdays at 1 p.m. in Eberly B15. Our intern and senior human services major Sekye Miles will be available weekly to study with fellow students This was promoted to Act 101 students but all are welcome!
