Paul R. Stewart Museum

In a combined effort, the Communication Department and the Paul R Stewart Museum have digitized over 30 WU sports teams’ photographs between 1940 and 2024.

As a result of the Orange Week fund raising, the Stewart museum is framing four 1855 graduation diplomas, under UV glass. Three are for females, one of whom achieved a bachelor's degree in science. The diplomas will be exhibited in the Museum along with the students’ biographies.

While inventorying items, a mastodon molar tooth and a portion of a jaw bone were found. These items were found in Greene County during the 1960s. Research reveals that these might be the only mastodon bones found in Pennsylvania. These items will be exhibited in the museum.

Paul R Stewart Museum now has created online exhibits which include items from the Museum's Native American collection and a student created exhibit of each of Waynesburg's presidents and their wives More online exhibits will be added throughout the summer

Challenge Coins are a tradition among law enforcement and military personnel They are typically awarded to those who have done an outstanding job or have completed a task that was above and beyond the call of duty. On April 24, the Criminal Justice Faculty will be presenting Waynesburg University Challenge Coins to graduating Criminal Justice Administration students. The Challenge Coin cannot be purchased; it must be earned. By their hard work and dedication, our Seniors have proven that they have done exactly that! Congratulations!
