Words of Welcome
+ Call to Worship
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD is God; it is He who made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter inro His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful and bless His name.
For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
+ Hymn 49: LEONI The God of Abraham Praise
+ Call to Confession
+ Litany of Confession
Gracious God, we have seen the works that testify to your goodness, but we still wonder if we should attribute them elsewhere.
Forgive us, Lord.
Should we consider the unexpected encouragement that we needed as a word from you, or simply the kindness of a stranger?
Forgive us, Lord.
Should we consider the healing that has occurred in our life as a gift from you, or merely the skill of a doctor?
Forgive us, Lord.
Should we attribute our mourning turning into dancing to your grace, or to our hard interior work?
Forgive us, Lord, and give us hearts to believe, and eyes to recognize your gifts to us made manifest in others. Amen.
+ Assurance of God’s Grace | 1 John 1: 8-9
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Friends, believe the Good News of the Gospel. In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
+ Response of Praise: Hymn 581
GLORIA PATRI

The peace of Christ be with you. And also with you.
The Sacrament of Baptism | Rev. Katy Shevel
+ The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Bound for Jubilee
Joyce Eilers (1941-2009)
Hallelu, Hallelu, I’m on my way, bound for Jubilee. Oh, my brother, won’t you come with me? Oh, my sister, you must come today. Oh, my brother, won’t you come with me? Or the Devil might come and take you away, ‘fore you get to Jubilee! My Lord’s callin’, I must go with Him. Can’t you hear Him callin’ you today? My Lord’s callin’, I must go with Him, or the Devil might come and take me away, ‘fore I get to Jubilee. Hallelu, Hallelu! Bound for Jubilee!

The Lord is My Shepherd
Time for Reflection + Doxology (Hymn 606) and Prayer of Dedication
Howard Goodall (b. 1958)
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me, you will comfort me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
