Words of Welcome
Moment for Mission
+ Call to Worship
The steadfast love of God never ceases. God’s mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness, O God. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning, for you hear us when we cry. So we will praise you and will not be silent. Sing praises, O you faithful ones, and give thanks to God’s holy name.

LOBE DEN HERREN Praise Ye the Lord, the Almighty

+ Prayer of Confession
Trusting you does not always come easy when each day we are faced with the ugliness of the world. We do not believe that love conquers fear. We are not convinced that power comes through weakness. We cannot conceive how you could heal us. Forgive our lack of faith, O God, and renew our trust in you, for we would be disciples of Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.

+ Hymn 796: LAND OF REST We Come to You for Healing, Lord
Responsive Scripture Reading | Psalm 130
Out of the depths I cry to you, OLord. Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! If you were to keep watch over sins, OLord, who could stand? Yet with you, there is forgiveness,in order that you may be revered. I wait for you, OLord, my soul waits; and in your word is my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than those who keep watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning.
O Israel, wait for theLord, for with theLordthere is steadfast love, with the Lord there is plenteous redemption. For the Lord shall redeem Israel from all their sins.

This is the good news which we have received, in which we stand, and by which we are saved, if we hold it fast: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day, and that he appeared first to the women, then to Peter, and to the Twelve, and then to many faithful witnesses. We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus Christ is the first and the last, the beginning and the end; he is our Lord and our God. Amen.

Trad. Spiritual/Arr. André Van Rycheghem I'm Gonna Sing
I'm gonna sing when the spirit says "sing" and obey the spirit of the Lord. I'm gonna pray when the spirit says "pray" and obey the spirit of the Lord. I'm gonna shout, shout, shout when the spirit says "shout, shout, shout" and obey the spirit of the Lord. I'm gonna sing, I'm gonna pray, I'm gonna shout, "Hallelujah!" And obey the spirit of the Lord!
