Words of Welcome
+ Call to Worship
Our God of heaven has made a home with us on earth. Our Lord dwells among us and is one with us. Come now all who thirst, And drink the water of life. Come now, all who hunger. And be filled with good things. Come now, all who seek. And be warmed by the fire of love.
+ Hymn 361: AURELIA O Christ, the Great Foundation
+ Call to Confession
+ Prayer of Confession
Holy God, we seek your salvation, but we often act like we can save ourselves. We ask for your forgiveness, and then we repeat our mistakes. We experience your grace in our lives, and then we act defeated. We rely on your strength, but only in hard times. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience to walk in your light. May Jesus Christ, who is our way of hope, lead us toward a life of love, now and always. Amen.
+ Declaration of Forgiveness
Friends, hear the Good News of the Gospel. In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.

The peace of Christ be with you. And also with you.

Time for Reflection
Affirmation of Faith | The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
